Comparison of cost of living old time and current time,
Not too far away, where back 1996, when i left the school, the petrol price is 1.03. I still remember that time i can drive any place i like. I can 1 afternoon got nothing to do. Drive From JB to Melacca just want try the satay lolot...... may be just costs me RM 10 on petrol. Today driving is so costly that we cannot enjoy our life.
Our Quality of living is dropping,1 plate of nasi aYAM may be cost us RM 5.00 or more. Compare our salary, Old time 1 operator basic salary may be RM350.00 now may be RM500.00 for those basic work. There is about 30% increased. On Top of that, Cost of house, food increased i think may be about 100% for past 10 year.
Our government claim our average inflation for past 10 year just about 2 to 3%. I wonder if we living in such country with inflation rates more than 10%, How they live ?
Some how must consider their income grow, inflation rates and currency rates. For example, Singapore inflation is higher than Malaysia. Due to strong currency they are enjoy more lower cost and higher living standard as comparison with Malaysia.
So how Wat is our next steps, I really do not know
